Thank you for giving me the honor of serving you on the Railroad Commission of Texas. Since the Commission oversees all the production of our state’s energy, like oil, natural gas, coal and uranium and because the responsible production of those energy resources is vital to our state’s economy and to our national security, it’s a privilege for me to serve you in this capacity.

I’m working hard, in Austin and across the state, to make sure that the Railroad Commission is an agency that is run in a fiscally responsible way and is responsive to the needs of those we serve… from the people of Texas - who expect us to protect their manifold interests - to the industries we oversee - who expect clear rules and efficient execution of our administrative duties.
